EASA Part M Subpart G – One day overview training course

Designed to satisfy the needs of the Accountable manager responsible for JAR OPS 1/3 operators, Maintenance post holders, Quality Managers and Part 145 Maintenance organisation wishing to gain Part M subpart G approval, this course concentrates on the operator’s responsibilities, contracted arrangements, subpart C and G responsibilities and Subpart I ARC arrangements.

EASA Part M Subpart G – Two days intensive training course

This course expands on the areas covered in our one day overview course. It includes what a subpart G organisation is responsible for, the content of the Continued Airworthiness Management Exposition, typical staff arrangements and qualifications, quality system, Airworthiness Review Certificate nominated staff and the practical application of subpart G.

EASA Part M Subpart F – One day training course

Designed to satisfy the needs of Subpart F Maintenance Organisation Staff involved in this new European GA maintenance approval for light and non-commercial aircraft. Subparts G and I will be provided at overview level to allow Subpart F organisations to understand the interface they will be involved with and future alignment with the rest of Part M.

EASA Part 145 – Two days practical application course

This course is designed for managers, certifying staff and practitioners alike, the information they need to effectively discharge their responsibilities and fully understand the intent of the requirement. Practical examples of occurrences and accidents are used to help highlight areas of safety concern and best practice that delegates may wish to employ.

EASA Part 145 – One day Airworthiness Overview course

The one day overview course is primarily designed for Accountable Managers and the 145.A.30 Nominated Persons (management) to gain the awareness training they need to satisfy the Form Four knowledge requirement and/or provide important updates. The emphasis is on the roles and responsibilities of such staff as well as highlights of the key Part 145 subparagraphs.

EASA Part 145 “Human Factors in Maintenance” Training Course

We have provided Human Factors in Maintenance training courses for a number of ‘Blue Chip’ clients. We have the ability and flexibility to offer many different packages to ‘Large’ aircraft MRO’s, Smaller GA based organisations as well as Engine Overhaul and Component maintenance companies.

EASA Part 145 – Continuation Training Courses

We work closely with PART 145 MRO’s to develop tailored continuation training packages for delivery to their staff. The package can include Technology Changes, Human Factors, Regulation updates, MOE and procedure based updates as well as feedback on Quality Audits.

Quality Systems Training – Part 145, Part M, Part 21, AS9100

Instructor Courses

Aviation Courses have been a vital training source to many airline training departments and have assisted with a programme of modules for newly appointed instructors. Commencing with our “Training Skills” course, Aviation Courses are able to offer specific modules that may be added to build upon the instructor’s skills and knowledge

Training Skills (4 or 5 days)

This course is designed for persons who are new to instructing and for those who require a refresher course.

By the end of the course candidates will be able to describe the theories of learning and describe the learning styles of individuals. Candidates will define the training cycle and their role and be able to design course structures and lesson plans. The course progresses to demonstrate the ability to deliver and present training sessions in the most effective way, including the use of various training aids and equipment.

Towards the end of the course, candidates will be able to implement coaching skills, solve conflict issues and recognise the importance and value of feedback. All candidates will identify the processes of maintaining learning logs, evaluation and development plans.

The training will include theory and practical sessions and the requirement for candidates to demonstrate presentation and training styles. There will be a need to prepare sessions in the evenings.

AVMED – Aviation Medicine for Instructors (2 days)

This training course has been designed for new and existing airline instructors. By the end of the course delegates will be able to define the requirements for aviation medicine in accordance with Jar-Ops.

Modules include current techniques by means of theoretical and practical training sessions. Delegates will be able to formulate their own in house training sessions to be delivered to both flight deck and cabin crew.

Fire & Smoke Training for Instructors (2 days)

This course is designed for persons who are new to instructing, in particular Safety and Emergency Procedures (SEP) Instructors and for those who require a refresher course.

By the end of the course candidates will be able to describe the theories of fire and describe up to date fire fighting procedures and techniques.

The course will assist instructors in formulating course programmes and content specific to their operation and equipment used. We will incorporate discussion using examples of incidents, video and dvd.

The training will include theory and practical sessions where candidates will identify the mandatory requirements for training to demonstrate presentation and training styles. There will be a need to prepare sessions in the evening.

SEP For Instructors (2 days)

SEP For Instructors can be attached to those modules that are relevant to instructors specialising in the design and delivery of Safety and Emergency Procedure training. Over 2 days candidates will gain knowledge of the requirements of Jar- Ops and other mandatory and legal procedures relevant to the scale and scope of their operation. Candidates will be able to identify the procedures and practices to be included in their safety training and produce a programme and ideas for lesson plans covering General Safety and SEP areas.

Security For Instructors (3 days)

This course is compliant to the requirements of non- UK operators overseas and will focus on the comprehensive security requirements relevant to the scale and scope of the operator. Candidates will identify critical areas of practice by evaluating security incidents and issues affecting the aviation industry.

By the end of the course candidates will be able to deliver effective training sessions incorporating the procedures required to prevent the security threats against the industry today.

Crew Resource Management (CRM) Facilitator (4 days)

Focus is given on enhancing current crew resource management knowledge and builds the foundations for instructors to design, deliver and facilitate CRM to flight deck and cabin crew. Meeting the requirements of Jar-Ops 1, the delegates will cover examples of human factor errors and the importance of effective communication within a team environment. The course will build upon the skills of facilitation, training and presentation to ensure that the subject and material that is produced throughout this course will be presented effectively in house.

The course consists of theory, visual and practical modules.

The CRM Facilitator course modules contain up- to- date material and examples, therefore is useful to those facilitators who require refresher training.

Cabin Crew Courses

This 11 to 14 day course is designed for cabin crew who are new to an operator, and/or who require training that complies with the requirements of JAR-OPS 1, including practical aspects.

The course syllabus is divide into two specific areas – Initial element of training which covers all generic subjects, and Conversion element which covers all subjects relating to a specific aircraft type. Depending on the type of aircraft, the duration of the conversion element will vary

The training consists of classroom based theory training and practical exercises at swimming and fire training facilities, and on either a cabin simulator or actual aircraft.
